Output increase through unmanned shifts
Good personnel is often only available during regular day shifts. Late or night shifts are becoming increasingly problematic. By expanding with an additional robot, unmanned shifts can be prepared and started at the push of a button.
By using the exchange table and appropriately preparing the 16 workstations, it is also possible to produce smaller batch sizes and e.g., automatically switch to a second component.

Depending on the application, there are components that only require simple post-processing, for example re-tapping threads in pre-fabricated sheet metal parts. Naturally, there are also components with multiple reworkings, such as back processing of turned parts or processing of the 6th side of milled parts. And then there are complex final processings, e.g., in aluminum cast parts, where they need to be re-milled, re-bored, deburred, partially sandblasted in between, and at the end, threads need to be added, marked, and tested. All this is easily achievable for DS integrated users thanks to its flexibility.
