Deburring System DS base – Entry into automated reworking

The DS base model is particularly suitable for companies that want to easily enter into automated deburring . The machine reliably processes components such as milled parts, die-cast parts, or plastic components. Thanks to its compact design and modular structure, the system can be easily integrated into existing production environments.

The 5-axis processing with a repeat accuracy of 0.05 millimeters enables precise reworking such as thread cutting, brushing, rounding, and adjusting fits. The machine is ideal for changing series sizes, short setup times, and medium requirements, as often occur in mechanical engineering or the supply industry.

Deburring System DS integrated – For maximum automation and performance

The DS integrated is a sophisticated deburring cell for demanding applications and high volumes. It offers up to 16 work stations and can be equipped with a changeover or rotary table. This machine meets the highest demands for throughput, precision, and process reliability.

Typical applications are complex aluminum cast parts in the automotive industry, components in aerospace, or parts for the medical technology sector. The system processes even difficult geometries fully automatically and combines several work steps in one pass, including deburring, back processing, sandblasting, and marking.

How deburring sheets with our machines works

In sheet metal deburring, sharp edges and protruding material residues are reliably removed. The goal is a clean, smooth edge that can be further processed without rework. The process is fully automated and can be seamlessly integrated into existing production lines.

First, the sheet is either manually inserted or automatically positioned via a feed system. Sensors register the geometry of the workpiece, after which the machine selects the appropriate tool. Depending on the material and application, grinding wheels, brushes, milling cutters, or water jet technology are used. The tools precisely follow the contours and process all relevant edges, even on interior cutouts or hard-to-reach areas.

After burr removal, a fine finishing usually follows. During this process, the edges are rounded, and the surface is smoothed to achieve a high-quality finish. The workpiece is then cleaned and either automatically or manually removed. This continuous process ensures reproducible quality and saves significantly on time and costs compared to manual processing.
